A little more about me...

Hello everyone, I'm Ange Walker, the owner of Empowered Kidz Australia.

For those who don't know me, here is an introduction, not just to my business but to me.

This business is my dream, and helping children is something I have always been passionate about. I have spent many years learning, studying, researching, and preparing for it. And finally last year, with the support of my amazing husband, who has been my rock for my entire adult life, I took a leap of faith and opened it. And I am so happy to be doing something I love every day!

I have two daughters, one in Year 3, and the other in Year 2, who inspire me every day! For several years, I enjoyed working with them and tutoring their friends. Later, that extended into the community, and there I saw a need. I realized that there are limited resources for teaching children yoga, mindfulness, confidence, emotional regulation, how to cope with feelings of anxiety and anger, etc.

And so I resolved to put my knowledge, my educational and psychological degrees, and my personal experience's with my children to use, by creating and hosting workshops tailored specifically to children!

With that in mind, I pursued a Kid's Yoga and Mindfulness certificate to expand my knowledge and to be able to offer children tools, and practices to help them cope better with their emotions. And it has been such a rewarding experience!

My business has grown quickly, and I am so grateful and thrilled to be helping children overcome their struggles, both emotionally and academically, and to be able to teach them to feel confident, calm, and comfortable every day!

Thanks to remarkable community support, I now have a waiting list for tutoring and empowerment workshops. As a result, it is time to expand, by adding like-minded, passionate people to the team, to enable me to help more children!
